Destry Allyn Spielberg‘s “Please Don’t Feed the Children” Casts Vernon Davis

Vernon Davis (“The Ritual Killer”) will star in Destry Allyn Spielberg‘s feature directorial debut “Please Don’t Feed the Children.” Destry Allyn is the daughter of legendary director Steven Spielberg. The upcoming horror movie will follow a group of orphans who head south searching for a new life. After a viral outbreak ravages the country’s adult population, only to find themselves in danger.

Davis will be joining a cast that already includes Michelle Dockery (“Downton Abbey”), Zoe Colletti (“Only Murders in the Building”), Regan Aliyah (Marvel’s “Ironheart”), and Andrew Liner (“Vampire Academy”).  “Please Don’t Feed the Children” was granted an Interim Agreement so none of these performers are running afoul of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

“I’ve been very fortunate to work with some incredible people early in my acting career, and this is no different,” said Davis. “I’m beyond excited to be part of Destry’s directorial debut, as well as the opportunity to share the screen with such a talented and inspirational cast.”

Davis retired from playing football in 2020 and jumped headlong into acting. Since then he has already filmed more than 30 projects, which is impressive, to say the least. He’s worked alongside performers like John Malkovich, Bruce Willis, Luke Wilson, Thomas Mann, Rosa Salazar, and Morgan Freeman. Davis also founded two production firms, Reel 85 and Between the Linez Productions.

There is currently no set release date for “Please Don’t Feed the Children.” We’ll keep you posted on updates about the project as they become available.
