Fans of the “Saw” franchise can now live out their bloodiest dreams in a new, interactive, Twitch livestream. In celebration of the upcoming “Saw X” Xbox has teamed up with Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures to let horror hounds “play a game.”

Actor Tobin Bell sports a menacing look, while wearing a hoodie.

The new game will allow players to take on the role of a “Saw” protagonist. With villain/anti-hero Jigsaw having trapped both an Xbox Series X and a newly launched Xbox Series S in his notorious puzzles. It is now up to the player to use Twitch commands to solve the puzzle, and since the traps are winnable we know Amanda didn’t design them.

If players are able to successfully beat the trap, they are rewarded with a chance to win various prizes. The prizes include an Xbox Series S in Carbon Black that features a 1TB SSD, a Saw Billy Puppet, and an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – Three Month subscriptions.

But that’s not all the horrors that “Saw X”’s marketing campaign is bringing to the gaming world. Gamers can also join in on a new Roblox world featuring a twisted obstacle course designed by Jigsaw himself. Every part of the obstacle course features classic “Saw” choices, that players must overcome to reach the next part of his game.

Meaning, participants must keep their wits about them to defy certain death and figure out the puzzles. Every week, survivors with the fastest times will be eligible to earn a limited-edition “Saw”-themed cosmetics for their Roblox avatars.

Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures will also be teaming up with Six Flags Fright Fest to bring even more terrifying puzzles to your screens.

The Twitch livestream starts at 11am (PST) on September 27th. “Saw X” will hit theaters on September 29th, 2023. We’ll keep you posted on what other games the franchise has up its sleeve as they become available.
