Knott’s Scary Farm Introduces ‘Scare Immunity’ Necklaces

Knott’s Scary Farm, annual Halloween event from Knott’s Berry Farm, is offering ‘Scare Immunity’ necklaces to attendees for additional purchase. The “No Boo” necklace will allow the wearer to walk through the outdoor scare zones and not be approached by performers.

The immunity will NOT work in the mazes, or indoor scare zones.

These “Scare Immunity” necklaces offer a new way for groups to experience the spooky event. Outdoor scare zone performers will not approach anyone wearing the light up necklace during the event. The necklace will be available for purchased throughout the park, and pre-purchased through the park website for $14.99.

Honestly whoever came up with this idea needs a raise. This is perfect for anyone going in a group, who might not do well with scares. It almost guarantees a pleasant experience for everyone. Plus it’s not too unreasonably priced. Bring on the “scare immunity” for those who want to have a fun time, but not a wholly spooky one.

Knott’s Scary Farm is celebrating the 50th anniversary of operating this year. They claim to be the longest-running and most haunted Halloween theme park event in Southern California. The event itself features terrifying performers, scary mazes, spooky shows, and themed food and merchandise. (The Knott’s Berry Farm chaperone requirement for anyone 15 or younger, is still in effect for the event.)

Knott’s Scary Farm will be open select nights from September 21st through October 31st. The event is not recommended for children under the age of 13. Tickets can be purchased here.
