We’d really love to have one day, ONE DAY, without Elon Musk doing/saying/starting something so stupidly ill-advised as what we’re about to tell you. If you’ve never been harassed by someone on social media to the point of needing to block them, you’re in the minority. Also, congratulations? We guess?
For most social media users however, the ability to block someone is a necessity. Aside from harassment and the occasional outright threats, there’s the ubiquitous pornbots and scammers, all of which Twitter (now X) users won’t be able to block anymore.
In a tweet response to Tesla Owners Silicon Valley’s question about block vs mute, Musk responded that he is indeed planning to remove the block feature.
This isn’t the first time he’s threatened this, but considering other decisions he’s made in recent weeks, this one could happen.
We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
