NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, has launched a new, free, streaming service that will be available on most platforms. The app will showcase a huge amount of NASA content like images, podcasts, videos, and more. There are also nifty features like Solar System Exploration and tracking for the International Space Station (ISS). The ability to watch NASA events happen in real-time anywhere is another amazing feature.

NASA+ is full of educational content about all things space related. New images will be easily downloadable for mobile devices. The app has a section dedicated to missions, launches, and landings. There are even Augmented Reality (AR) features for 3D models of orbiters and to help find items in the night sky.
It sounds like this streaming service was made for anyone who loves all things astronomy and space. Imagine all the younglings who will be inspired from watching countless hours of educational NASA content. There are so many eye-catching featured this streaming platform offers. The alternative rock station called “Third Rock Radio,” is such a good space pun. I for one, can not wait to learn more about space and what NASA is doing daily.
NASA+ is available to download from the App Store on iOS devices and the Google Play store. For smart TVs, the app can be found through their respective app stores.
