The steps that will help you start using a betting operator in Canada on your mobile phone

Among the crucial things you must remember before you decide what to wager on is to look at the specific process associated with downloading and installing the betting app. Canada’s home to a lot of sites, but some of them have very complicated mobile betting options that can take several minutes or even an hour to set up.

Since a lot of people are not familiar with the apps and how they work, they often decide to test a specific brand’s mobile site. The latter can work pretty well in most situations, but once you learn how to use it, you will realize it offers a lot more things and provide people with a better overall experience.

When talking about the apps and how to use them, each one has specific steps that everyone has to follow. Failing to do so means that you won’t be able to get the app, so let’s go through everything that will allow you to have the best possible experience while punting.

    Check the OS

The first thing you need to check before you start using the app you want is the specific version of your mobile OS. All apps require a certain version, which means that people who do not have it won’t be able to get the app. Luckily, Betway Canada, which is among the country’s leaders in iGaming, has apps for all popular mobile OS that will work on almost all mobile OS. As a result, some apps will give you more freedom than others.

When talking about the minimum version of the OS, the important thing to remember is to check Google Play and the App Store to see it. Although this is not a problem for people who choose an app that is available there, most betting apps are not like that. Instead of following the strict requirement by some of the world’s leading gambling authorities, bookies and casinos prefer investing funds into their own apk files and allowing people to download them.

If you choose a site with an apk file, first, you should check for more information about the OS. If that is not available, you need to contact the customer support crew and ask for additional details.

    Change the required settings

Among the annoying parts of getting a Canadian app is that it is not available on the official stores Consequently, people need to change different device settings to get what they want.

Starting with iOS, the latter is the better mobile operating system out of the two because it lets people get the app from the App Store, at least most of the time. However, there are many exceptions, so do not be surprised if you have to change some things. In this case, this usually includes your address because some operators manage to upload their apps on the App Store in specific parts of the world. You can complete this condition by going to settings and following the specific steps. Some gambling ads in Canada advertise what you need to do to get them, so keep that in mind.

Android clients have a lot more work to do, especially if they are using certain versions of this mobile operating system. For starters, Android users need to enable the feature that will allow them to install apps from outside of Google Play because Android does not allow it by default. This step requires people to check the different settings and enable this specific option.

Once this is taken care of, the next step of the process for Canadian bettors is to install additional software that will allow online bettors to use the app without any problem. Usually, all operators with apk files will include a few additional things that clients have to install if they do not want to have problems while using the specific app.

    Installing the app

Once your device is ready to install the app, it’s time for the process itself. This can take up to a couple of minutes or a few hours, depending on the app itself and the device. Usually, iGaming operators won’t require you to complete any additional steps during this process, but there might be some exceptions.
