One of the most anticipated events at Disneyland is their Halloween and villain themed Oogie Boogie Bash. The special ticketed event seems to sells out earlier and earlier. This year, because of a giant amount of people all trying to secure their tickets at the same time, the Disney Parks website crashed.

A limited number of tickets went on sale to Magic Key (the replacement Annual Pass program) holders on June 27th, and were ‘sold out’ within about 20 minutes. The remaining tickets were supposed to go on sale to the general public on June 30th. But, the site was overloaded, and the sales were stopped shortly after launching.
“We commit to providing advance notice prior to activating new sales and strive to make the process as smooth as possible,” Disney said across their various social medias and websites. “We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

The event will be running for a record number of days this year. You’ll have twenty five options to attend: September 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 17th, 19th, 21st, 24th, 26th, 28th, October 1st, 3rd, 5th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 22nd, 24th, 26th, 29th, and October 31st, which is Halloween night.
It offers specially themed food, unique character meet and greets with photo ops, and costumed trick-or-treating for all ages. Oogie Boogie Bash ticket holders are able to enter the park at 3pm. Non event ticket holders are ushered out at 6pm, when the event officially kicks off.
Disney Parks hopes to have an update the return of ticket sales by July 6th. The event does sell out annually.
