Blumhouse’s “Five Nights at Freddy’s” Gets Official Trailer

Those of you who loved the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” games and lore, get ready because the trailer for the movie is out NOW! The film follows new security guard played by Josh Hutcherson (“The Hunger Games“) who realizes early on that the night shift at Fazbear’s Pizza won’t be as easy as he thought. Can he survive five nights?

Emma Tammi directs from a script she co-wrote with Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback, with story by Cawthon. The film will also star Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Matthew Lillard.

Her smile says it all. “Five Nights at Freddy’s” Blumhouse / Universal

What’s promising about the Blumhouse / Universal film is the use of Jim Henson’s Creature Shop animatronic/puppets. It looks like it was pulled out from the game and brought into reality. With all the lore involved in the games and many YouTube videos fans have created there will no doubt be a bunch of Easter Eggs.

“Five Nights at Freddy’s” premieres in theaters and streaming on Peacock October 27th.
