What are Alliance points?

Another use of Alliance points is ranking up. Whenever you reach a certain threshold, you get a rank up each of which gives you some valuable stuff. It’s skill lines progress (assault and support, unique to PvP), armor dye, and furnishings. Your rank also has a name and it’s always cool to be a general, for example. Obviously, nothing beats the Emperor rank but it’s earned in a different way so it doesn’t count here.
The most effective way to earn APs is doing PvP. Alliance wars or Battlegrounds – that doesn’t matter. Choose whichever you prefer more. Sometimes you can get APs for other activities but the non-PvP sources are scant and you shouldn’t really rely on them.
What are Crowns in ESO?
Crowns are a premium currency that can’t be earned with any in-game activities. Yes, the sad truth is that you gotta pay real money to get them. Crowns are used to buy items in the crown store (which is a perfect name in terms of making it clear where to use crowns).
