Learn the Basics of Astrology with Your Own Universe Board Book

One thing I’ve been super into my whole life is Astrology. I started my obsession by reading Linda Goodman‘s Sun Signs.” Not long after I was scouring the shelves at the library wanting to read more about it. I learned a lot but one thing I’ve struggled with after having kids is how to share this knowledge with them effectively. I was looking for something that was easy enough to understand for kids while also teaching them the aspects of the planets and that’s when I got a solicit for a new book created by Solaris the Hii Priestess, which seemed perfect.

The book Y.O.U. Your Own Universe teaches all about the planets in a way that’s easy to understand. It has a planet per page and assigns them personalities. When you learn about astrology you become familiar with planetary traits and how what sign you fall in for each planet effects you. This book makes it easy to teach children about each planet’s quirks. For example Jupiter who teaches about opportunities and luck. Or “Old Man Saturn” who reminds us of our grandpa who teaches us discipline and responsibility.

The book is beautifully illustrated too. Bhagya Rathnaweera did an amazing job creating pictures of planetary beings that portray their uniqueness. It also makes it easier to remember their traits by looking at the picture like the one of Mars who’s big and strong.

This book is a must have on your baby bookshelf if you want to teach them about astrology. It may not be for everyone’s desired curriculum but for those of you that are witchy like me it’s a need.

You can get your own copy from Solaris’ website here. Additionally they also offer services like tarot readings and birth chart analysis. Check out their services here.
