We need to tell you a story about how Tony Hawk kickflipped some important “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” news. As you’ll no doubt know, Seth Rogen‘s upcoming “TMNT” animated film recently received a trailer, which has been making the rounds in theaters. Hawk kinda sorta spilled the beans about two-time Oscar winning composer (and Nine Inch Nails frontman) Trent Reznor‘s involvement with the film.
Following Hawk’s reveal, the film’s director Jeff Rowe confirmed the news on Twitter. “Well now that my teenage hero Tony Hawk has leaked that my music heroes are doing this I can add that the score is absolutely AMAZING,” Rowe tweeted. “Exhilarating, terrifying, heartbreaking, full of sounds I didn’t know existed. I don’t have the vocabulary to describe it. I love it so much.”
Hawk responded, apologizing for the news, but also said he “wasn’t asked to keep it secret.”
Reznor and composing partner Atticus Ross (who has also won 2 Oscars and is part of NIN) will be handling the score! The pair won their Academy Awards for Best Original Score for “The Social Network,” and Disney / Pixar’s “Soul.”

Micah Abbey will play Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. will play Michaelangelo, Nicolas Cantu will play Leonardo, and Brady Noon will play Raphael. Also, that’s Jackie Chan as Master Splinter!
Paul Rudd will play Mondo Gecko, Post Malone will play Ray Fillet, Giancarlo Esposito will play Baxter Stockman, Rose Byrne will play Leatherhead, Hannibal Buress will play Genghis Frog, John Cena will play Rocksteady, Ice Cube will play Superfly, Ayo Edebiri will play April O’Neil, Maya Rudolph will play Cynthia Utrom, and Rogen will play Bebop.
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” hits theaters August 4th, 2023. Check out the trailer now-
