Iconic singer, songwriter, and actress Tina Turner has passed away. Widely referred to as the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, she was at one point the most successful woman in music.
“Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock’n Roll’ has died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland. With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model,” a rep for the multi-award winning artist said.
She was 83.
