Two iconic Texas brands, Dr Pepper and Blue Bell, have joined together to create one delicious ice cream flavor. Introducing the Dr Pepper Float! Dr Pepper is a fan-favorite when it comes to making soda floats, so this comes as a welcome innovation. In fact we’re surprised it didn’t happen sooner!
The creamy vanilla ice cream, swirled together with a Dr Pepper flavored sherbet, is available in both pint and half-gallon sizes, in all 23 states where Blue Bell is available. The best part is that you can start searching for it now as it’s rolled out nationwide starting today.
“The best ice cream floats are made with Dr Pepper poured over a few scoops of Blue Bell,” Jimmy Lawhorn, Blue Bell Vice President, Sales and Marketing, said. “Why not put a spin on this popular treat and create our own version? The flavor of Dr Pepper and texture of the sherbet combine perfectly with the smooth vanilla ice cream. You may find yourself reaching for a soda glass instead of a bowl.”
You’ll want to get your hands on it soon though because it’s a limited flavor. Dr Pepper Float will be available in the pint and half-gallon sizes through 2024.
