A new trailer for Disney’s upcoming “Haunted Mansion” has arisen. While much of what’s shown has already been featured in other teasers and promotional art, there are some new things! For starters, this trailer confirms the house’s placement in New Orleans, which is perfect, considering the area in Disneyland where the original Haunted Mansion attraction resides.
We also get the best look at the iconic Hatbox Ghost, played here by *groans* Jared Leto. Glimpses of the haunted forest, a chair that resembles a Doom Buggy, the dueling ghosts, and the three hitchhiking ghosts pepper the trailer as well.
Justin Simien directs from a script by Katie Dippold, the film features an ensemble cast including LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon, and Dan Levy. Oscar winners Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto are also star.
Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters. It hits theaters July 28th, 2023. Check out the new trailer now:
