Win Winchester Mystery House Trip From Spirit Halloween

While spooky season is all year long, April is the official halfway point to Halloween. In celebration,, Spirit Halloween and the Winchester Mystery House have teamed up for a special Sweepstakes, offering fans the chance to win a fully immersive experience in one of the most haunted destinations in the world.

Located in San Jose, California, the mystery house is a 160-room, Victorian mansion. Which was formally owned by Sarah Winchester, heiress to the Winchester Rifle fortune. The home was under construction 24 hours a day for 38 years. Since, Sarah believed that this would somehow appease the ghosts of those that had lost their lives to Winchester rifles. As you can imagine, a home with that much construction going on has some quirks. Like doors and windows that open to walls, doors that open to a 10-foot drop into the gardens, and stairs that go nowhere. Not to mention countless employees and guests reporting seemingly paranormal activity. The house is so legendary there is both a movie and a comic book based on it.

So Spirit and the Winchester Mystery House are offering one lucky winner and their guest an exclusive tour. The tour includes RIP VIP access to rooms not open to the public, a catered culinary experience in Sarah Winchester’s dining room, and an after-dark walkthrough of the mansion accompanied by a professional medium. And the whole thing comes complete with a séance!

“It’s shaping up to be a big year for us and we wanted to get the party started earlier than ever in a way only Spirit Halloween can,” Spirit CEO Steven Silverstein said. “Our loyal fans truly embrace the Halloween lifestyle year-round, so the halfway mark felt like the perfect time to give everyone a taste of what’s to come throughout our 40th anniversary season.”

To enter, fans can leave a comment on the contest post on Spirit Halloween’s Instagram now through April 27th. But if you’re not interested in spooky old homes, their Instagram will be giving sneak peaks of the upcoming 2023 season.
