according to the usual sources, multi Emmy winner Courtney B. Vance has just joined the cast of Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of “Lilo & Stitch.” Apparently, he’ll be playing the role of Special Agent Cobra Bubbles!

In the original animated film, Cobra Bubbles was voiced by Ving Rhames.
Vance joins the already announced cast of Kahiau Machado as David Kawena, Sydney Agudong (“Infamously in Love”) as Nani, Maia Kealoha as Lilo, Billy Magnussen, and Zach Galifianakis.

Dean Fleischer Camp (“Marcel the Shell With Shoes On“) directs form a script by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright (“Tsuru”). Based on characters created by the directors/writers of the original 2002 film Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois. Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich of Rideback are producing. With Rideback’s Ryan Halprin executive producing.
