A24’s “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once” was the darling of awards season. Oscar-winning writers/directors The Daniels (Daniel Kwan, Daniel Scheinert) couldn’t be more grateful. The duo is already scuttling to their next adventure. The two are working on the “Star Wars” spin-off series, “Skeleton Crew.”

“Skeleton Crew” began filming last summer, and recently wrapped. The overall plot has been kept a secret aside from the premise. Set in The New Republic era in the Star Wars universe, a group of kids lost in the galaxy are trying to find their way home. John Favreau and Dave Filoni will executive produce. Tom Holland‘s “Spider-Man” helmer John Watts, as well as The Daniels, will direct at least one episode.

    Jude Law will star.

We probably won’t have to wait long for information, as Star Wars Celebration London happens in May. More than likely, we’ll get a teaser of some kind for this upcoming series. The extended Star Wars universe is being heavily guarded by Disney, treating spoilers as a proverbial kryptonite. “The Mandalorian“ third season trailer wasn’t revealed until two months prior to its premiere. So we’ll just have to exercise some Jedi-like patience ’til then.

In the meantime, “The Mandalorian” season three is now streaming on Disney+.
