It is very likely we’ll be seeing the return of filmmaker Zack Snyder to DC films. Or should we say, his addition to DC Studios, the newly launched DC Comics arm of Warner Bros. Pictures, co-headed by James Gunn and Peter Safran.
Early this morning, “Man of Steel” and “Justice League” helmer Snyder teased something big. A “message from Lord Darkseid” is apparently coming April 28th-30th. Combined with the hashtag “full circle,” this could mean anything. Another Snyder film? Another cut of another Snyder film? And more Darkseid?? “Created by the great Jack Kirby, Darkseid is one of the biggest bads found in the DC Comics universe. We did get teases of him throughout the recent films, but, nothing really lived up to his comic counterpart.
We’re kind of thinking these will be the dates for DC Fandome, and that additional information will be revealed in the coming weeks. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
