“Yellowjackets” Season 2 Trailer is Hauntingly Beautiful

Ok “Yellowjackets” fans, the season 2 trailer just came out. A haunting rendition of No Doubt’s “Just a Girl” by Florence + The Machine in it gives us everything we want out of a trailer. Seriously though, I really just need to give the song a shoutout for a second. It, paired with snippets of season 2, just made it so much more haunting.

We see our favorite characters going through even more trauma associated with the plane crash. A lot of mysteries look like they’re going to be resolved. However, it looks like we’re going to have to get through even more questions to get to the end of this rabbit hole. The trailer looks as if it’s going to get a lot messier before it gets resolved. In fact, “Yellowjackets” was already renewed by Showtime for a third season!

What’s exciting about this season is that we’ll get to see Van and Lottie, two characters who we were introduced to in their teen form in season one but were missing from current scenes. And it appears that Lottie and Van will play very important roles in season two. Their casting is pretty amazing too with Lauren Ambrose playing Van and Simone Kessel playing Lottie. Elijah Wood has also entered this season playing a citizen detective which could put a damper on Shauna’s little mishap in season one. No spoilers!

Season 2 of “Yellowjackets” premieres on SHOWTIME March 24th, 2023. Check out the trailer now:
