When VIZ went and redubbed the entirety of “Sailor Moon” they actually missed one of the specials included in the Super S collection. This episode was called “Haruka and Michiru’s Return: The Ghostly Puppet Show.” I had a very old VHS tape of this so I went ahead and recorded it with my ClearClick 2.0 and edited it down to just the lost episode using MiniTool MovieMaker 5.4.
Using MiniTool MovieMaker 5.4
After downloading the video editing software and installing it I created a new project within the software. It was simple to chose a file and import it into the program. From there I was able to edit and add titles and other cool effects.
It allowed me to do subtitling but for the sake of my sanity I opted to just introduce the episode and then let it play in Japanese. The editing was easy to do but it would have taken more time than I have at the moment. I may go back and do it later. I suppose I could just let it create the file while I play Bet Winner on my phone and that would help pass the time. And if your not in the states don’t worry! BetWinner apostas has got you covered.
Cutting and pasting was also very easy and the program loaded the individual scenes quickly so that I could match up the subtitles with the voice over.
Audio and Video Support
The software allows for most popular formats to be uploaded into it. You can also export in different formats. For the free version I used it defaulted to an MP4 at 30fps. Other subscriptions will allow for higher quality videos to be exported.
What you get with the free version
In the free edition of the video editor you get to use all the bells and whistles. Meaning that all the video effects, texts, elements and more are available to use. You can export 1080p videos without a watermark and the first three videos that you export don’t have a limit on length. After that you’re limited to videos of two minutes or less.
There are other subscriptions that you can invest in which will allow you to use it and have unlimited exports with unlimited lengths. There is a monthly subscription that’s $12.99 that will allow you a license for one PC. The annual subscription which is usually $59.99 is on sale now for 40% off making it $35.99. And there is an ultimate plan which will allow you to use the software on three PCs.
Why we liked it
I loved that it was simple and straightforward. It’s perfect for people like me who want to upload older shows with simple titles. There are options to add filters like you would with an image on Instagram which can really make the ending video look fantastic. It’s really a great editing program that doesn’t take up much space, and won’t bog down your computers RAM.
