Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic “Sailor Moon” anime, high-end fashion designer Jimmy Choo has teamed up with Naoko Takeuchi to launch a limited-edition collection that embodies female empowerment and individuality. The collaboration infuses the alluring and glamorous aesthetic of Jimmy Choo with the pop-culture influence of the anime to create a range of footwear and accessories.

Inspired by the Sailor Senshi (Sailors Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus) and Luna the cat, the footwear collection includes knee-high stretch boots in a bold pink hue, green lace-up leather combat boots, glossy patent leather ankle boots, high-heeled red pumps, satin orange platform pumps, and even purses.

This collaboration is a true tribute to female empowerment and individuality, showcasing how two iconic brands can come together to create a timeless collection. The Jimmy Choo x Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon collection promises to be a must-have for fans of the anime and fashion enthusiasts alike.

In flagship stores around the world, artwork from Takeuchi’s “Sailor Moon” will be displayed. Additionally, Jimmy Choo has joined forces with DJ Honey Dijon to produce two original tracks inspired by the anime.

The collection makes its debut on Valentine’s Day, February 14th 2023, exclusively on Jimmy Choo’s website. Each piece will come packaged in limited-edition iridescent designs, making it a special and unique celebration of the enduring impact of anime on popular culture. The collection pays homage to the spirit of the original anime while presenting a fresh take on the beloved characters.
