    What are all the weapons available in CSGO, and which are best to use?

    CSGO features both lightweight and heavy guns. Therefore, you can build an arsenal that meets your needs if you have enough money. Here are the main CSGO weapon categories;

    Assault Rifles

    Many CSGO players like rifles since they are highly effective CSGO weapons in all fights, including mid and long-range attacks. The weapons are rugged, and you can use them long without losing value. Further, they inflict a lot of damage even from a long range.

    Most assault rifles can kill from a distance since their bullets are bigger and can penetrate helmets. So, they are potent weapons, provided you target a headshot. Some models, such as M4A4, also come with a silencer that eliminates bullet traces.

    So, if you use such a gun, your enemies might find it difficult to pinpoint your position. Popular automatic rifles in CSGO include AK-47, SG 553, M4A4, FAMAS, M4A1-S, AUG, and Galil AR.

    SMGs

    In CSGO, a Sub Machine gun is useful in attacking the opposing team in close quarters. The weapon offers a high fire rate, and you can hit hundreds of bullets in a minute. Also, its low recoil allows you to fire while running around.

    Sniper Rifles

    You can use the Scout or the AWP to kill your enemies in long-range duels. The Scout is cheaper than an AWP, but they are both deadly. One headshot is enough to kill an opponent, but the guns have a low fire rate. So, you need a quick reaction while using the weapon.

    Pistols

    Pistols are useful in close-quarter combat during eco rounds and pistol rounds. You can choose the P2000, Gloc-18, or USP-s while playing on the Counter-Terrorist side.

    You may also use P250 or Desert Eagle since a clean headshot kills the enemy instantly. For terrorists, they can use other options like Tec-9, R8 Revolver, CZ75 Auto, and Dual Berettas.

    Heavy Weapons

    The heavy weapons category includes machine guns and shotguns. The CT side can use shotguns in short-range fights since they are effective on smaller maps. Some players use them since they have a higher kill reward. Some shotguns you find in force buys include Mag-7, Sawed-Off, Nova, and XM1014.

    On the other hand, many players don’t buy machine guns due to low movement speed. Therefore, they might not be helpful in rounds where a rapid reaction is needed.

    Knives

    CSGO has a wide range of Knives with different skins. A knife is perfect in stealth missions since you may use it to injure or kill an opponent silently. Therefore, it is perfect in close quarters where you can easily come face-to-face with your enemy.

    Best Weapons to Use in Different Situations

    Although CSGO has a vast collection of weaponry, you can’t use the same weapon in all situations. In some incidents, you might need a high fire rate, while in others, you might prefer stealth. While playing CSGO, you might encounter the following scenarios;

    Anti Eco Rounds

    You can make in Anti eco rounds if you pick the right gun. SMGs are perfect weapons for these rounds because they can shred players with their high fire rate. Although any machine gun is perfect for these rounds, you can stick to MP9 and MAC-10 since they are cheap. For greater damage, you can select a UMP-45 or PP-Bizon, but the latter is better since it has more bullets.

    Full Buy Rounds

    In these rounds, the counter-terrorist side can pick about 2 AWPS and M4s due to their accuracy. You may also include some M4A4 and M4A1-s because they can provide suppressive fire.

    On the terrorist side, you may purchase an AK-47 since it is a rugged gun. SG553 and AWP guns might also be effective in ambushing the opposing team.

    Pistol Rounds

    When you launch the CSGO game, you’ll first encounter a pistol round. In this round, you can use default pistols such as Kevlar. However, in the raid-boss setup, you may use better guns such as p250, which can kill from a long range. You might also equip your top player with a USP-S since it kills with a single headshot.

    Force Buys

    While playing on the terrorist (T) side, you can select Galil ARs and MAC-10s during Force Buys. The two have a high hit rate, and you can use them to suppress the counter-terrorist (CT) side.

    On the other hand, if you play as a counter-terrorist, go for FAMAS and MP-9 during force buys. The guns have high accuracy, making them perfect for taking down terrorists in mid-range fights.
