Lagos, Nigeria, January 14, 2023 – World renown florist and celebrity, Promise Kenneth-Odium, will be hosting live workshops on’ floral arrangements that impact lives with a difference’.

The famous pageant turned businesswoman, has been affectionately titled by the Nigerian ruler as ‘The Queen of Floral Artistry” and will launch a quarterly seminar based on crafting floral design for upper-class society. During the workshops, Promise will present her biographical experiences and share the stories that landed her stardom. She assures attendees to open up a bit about her well-hidden private life.

Each workshop will be centered on the design process and she will demonstrate how to transform simple flowers into artistic floral bouquets. Promise will work with each participant to create floral arrangements so that each can take home a bouquet.

    Who is Promise Kenneth-Odum?

    At a Glance

    • She financed her own education
    • Started two companies within the modeling and event management industry
    • She is now CEO of an internationally renowned artificial floral decoration firm
    • She is investing and empowering finance, Swedish loans in her country
    • Very little is known about her private life

Promise  Kenneth-Odum is a Nigerian entrepreneur and designer, the founder and CEO of Rukkiesdecor, a Nigerian firm that specializes in artificial floral designs and event management. She took her inspiration from a bourne dislike of rejections and instead of begging, started to work at the early age of 17 as an usher.

She entered the stage as a model but later started her own modeling agency and provided props for shows. Over the years her fame has grown because of the quality of artificial floral bouquets and decorations that she makes. According to clients, people often confused the decorations with real flowers.

Her largest break came when she was awarded the international pageant show for the Niger Delta in 2013, while she was still in the second year of her university studies. Promise recognizes the gig as her most important turning point.

Promise was born into a large family, one of twelve kids, but auto-financed her studies, working all the time.

Promise Keeps Her Promise to Invest in Nigeria

In 2019  when she started the Rukkies Decor, Promise Kenneth-Odum promised to invest in Nigeria. Vowing to help provide employment for local Nigerians. At that time she imported over 90% of the floral products she used in her design and walls.

That has changed greatly as she now finances production facilities that produce 50% of her design materials. She now produces artificial floral walls, synthetic plant walls, and decor props,

Promise supplies a large part of the African content with artificial floral designs and materials. Her clients include restaurants, modeling firms, TV channels, retail flower stores, and filmmaking companies.

In a recent interview with American Business Stars, Promise Kenneth-Odum summarized her definition of success as not being centered on the amount of money one has, if not the number of lives one can positively impact, including one’s life.

“For me, success is not just about having billions in your account, success to me is the lives I have impacted positively, the millions of people that have grown and become successful through me, and this millions of lives includes me too!” Promise told the American Business Stars

In the same interview, Promise encouraged people to produce the best quality so that they can stand out above the other 10,000 people in the competition. This may seem well-given advice since she has managed to produce the best quality artificial flowers.

Photos on her website show the impressive similarity between her synthetic floral wall and those of real gardens. This is more like having your own Hollywood prop studios in Nigeria, only these are not graphic or computer generated.

    Promise Business History

After graduating from university, Promise Kenneth-Odum earned enough money to start a small business called Rnbighairs. The business focussed on designs and shows and became a success that she had to create a warehouse within three years.

In 2019, she expanded her business to artificial floral design, abandoning the modeling and events industry. The business caught on quickly with the superior material quality that was used in the floral arrangements. Soon businesses from all across Africa started ordering and Rukkies Decor shot to international fame.

What started as a small company grew into large warehouses with retailers and modeling firms flocking for huge orders. According to Promise, her plans have always been large, and is preparing for warehouses across Africa, orders by shipment, and worldwide offices in the future. She told the American Business Stars that

“I think Rukkiesdecor is done scratching the surface, the Rukkies brand has dominated Africa to an extent, by end of 2023 we should have dominated Africa fully and then move to other parts of the world.” Promise Kenneth-Odium

    Floral Design Workshops

The floral design workshops will be held quarterly with a second installment in January under an Awards Season theme. This will be followed by a third workshop in May surrounding a Mother’s Day theme. Each floral session is being offered for 50,000 naira.

Promise Kenneth-Odum has managed to keep her personal life a secret, and little is known about her eleven siblings, parents, or romantic relationships. Even during her public interviews, she has taken care not to mention anything about her private life.

Her religion, political standing, her hobbies, and favorites remain to be discovered and shared. Even though her business boosts social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, Promise makes no mentions, she keeps it all private.
