LEGO Ideas Reveals New A-Frame Cabin Set

This November, LEGO returned the Home Alone house to its catalogs for Christmas. LEGO has debuted the newest addition to their fan-designed Ideas sets. This adorable A-frame cabin was designed by Andrea Lattanzio. The cute little cabin has a lovely rustic and outdoorsy theme, perfectly encapsulating the feeling of a forest retreat.

We’re not saying it’s serious “Midsommar” vibes, but…

The A-frame log cabin isn’t just charming from the outside. Packed cozily inside this two-story cabin is a bedroom, kitchen, and living room. Of course, putting it together is half the fun, but observing the little world you’ve built is sure to give you a nice serotonin boost for the day. Beautiful trees frame the rustic outdoor deck, and a canoe and woodshed mean you can curl up by the campfire after a long day of paddling. Butterflies settle on the outside to warm themselves in the sun while four mini-figs enjoy a vacation in the great outdoors.

But why an A-frame cabin? “I was looking through a book with many strange houses from all over the world and I discovered the A-Frame and it was love at first sight.  I started with a sketch, so I had a clear vision and then built my design in about 10-days.” says Lattanzio. Seems it appealed greatly to LEGO as well. Congrats to Lattanzio for designing such a delightful piece.

The fun doesn’t stop there, either. To celebrate the cabin’s release, LEGO’s youtube channel has a live broadcast of the cabin. Animated in the same stop-motion-y vein as almost all LEGO media, there’s no telling what you might catch happen during the broadcast. Perhaps the squirrel living in the woodshed might pop by!

The set will be available February 4th via LEGO’s official website here.
