Whether it’s spring or fall, it’s always a good time to approve May’s birthstone, the emerald, officially. Women have cherished this iconic, deep green gemstone worldwide for generations.

Emerald jewelry is linked with affluence. If you want to buy it, you must buy it from a renowned seller. Keep reading to discover how to achieve the look and more about this beautiful jewel.

The emerald look is one that everyone can achieve today, and anyone may access its symbolic meanings. Emeralds range in color from dark to light, with the darkest greens commanding the highest prices. Emeralds can complement a wide range of aesthetics, from the spectacular to the understated. If you are looking to add a nice luxurious green emerald necklace to your jewelry collection, you can find it here.

Culturally and psychologically, this color is linked to new beginnings, prosperity, and rebirth. Because of this, emeralds have always been favored by the affluent and renowned.

    How To Style

Green looks great next to its complementary colors, blue and red. Wearing red and green at the same time can make you look like a Christmas tree, so be careful. Instead, come up with unique ways to combine the colors, including using makeup or other accessories to draw attention to one another.

If you’re a redhead, you may have noticed that many of your favorite celebs wear green to red carpet events and movie premieres. Emeralds are especially eye-catching when contrasted with ginger hair.

Emeralds are the jewelry of the masses. Here are some of our favorite ways to wear emeralds:

    Rings

So what if they claim diamonds are the only good stone for an engagement ring? Many modern women are straying from tradition when selecting an engagement diamond. Think of a beautiful emerald solitaire ring with a row of smaller diamonds down each side of the band. You may look for a striking ring to wear to a cocktail party.

    Earrings

Just wait until you get this stunning green color close to your eyes and see the sparkles fly. You may get a pair of emerald stud earrings in any size or shape to suit your face and skin tone. Try these diamond-studded eardrops set with emeralds.

What a bold assertion! These delicate dangling earrings are another favorite of ours because they can be worn with everything from a t-shirt and jeans to a dress and beyond.

    Necklaces

Emeralds indeed look stunning, whether worn alone or stacked. An emerald pendant is small enough to wear alone or combine with your other favorite necklaces without overwhelming the ensemble. Then, go for something that grabs attention, like this emerald and diamond pendant.

Remember that the color green is surprising and will draw attention no matter how you style your emerald jewelry. Emeralds are the best choice for people who want to be noticed. Green is the color to wear this spring, so join the emerald bandwagon.

Emerald is one of the most interesting gemstones in all senses. In wearing due to its beauty, history, and nuances.

Don’t believe us? Here are some facts that shed some light on it:

    Emeralds Aren’t Always Green

Emeralds vary in color. Johnny Cash’s “Forty Shades of Green” is accurate. Emeralds are deep to pastel green. Trace elements Chromium, Vanadium, and Iron determine the stone’s color. Deep green emeralds are the most valuable.

    The Cut is the Key

Cut affects the color of jewelry. A gemologist can darken a light stone by giving it a deep cut and fewer facets. More facets and a shallow cut can make a darker stone appear lighter. Given all of this, it’s no surprise that the emerald is in demand. This way makes a lot of beautiful emeralds.

    Rarer and Costlier than Diamonds

Diamonds are often the first thought of rare or pricey gemstones. But emeralds are uncommon and expensive. They’re a type of beryl mined in Central, South, and Africa. Even in established mines, huge, high-quality diamonds are scarce. Columbian emeralds cost 100,000$ a carat depending on size, cut, and color.

    Royals Love emeralds

This scarcity may be why not just the Irish value emerald. Cleopatra reputedly liked emeralds and owned all Egyptian mines to ensure high-quality stones. Emeralds adorn the British Crown Jewels. Elizabeth Taylor, screen queen, loved emerald jewels. Her $6.5 million emerald pendant was sold in 2011.

    The Biggest Exporters

Mozambique Exported the Majority of Worlds Emerald. Over the course of the previous 10 years, Mozambique’s official exports of rubies, emeralds, and sapphires comprised 94%.

    Not All Emeralds are Real

Attempts have been undertaken to synthetically produce emeralds for a long time due to their tremendous value. They made synthetic emeralds due to their rarity and price.  Finally, between 1934 and 1937, a German patent was issued protecting its synthesis, marking the culmination of these efforts.

This kind of history and nuances make emerald a fascinating gemstone. That’s why emerald becomes the perfect accessory for a night on the town, a formal wedding, or any other special occasion. Wearing a pair of dangling emerald earrings or a stunning emerald pendant necklace with a bit of black dress will give you an air of sophistication and elegance.

Green and blue are complementary colors. When you wear green with blue, you stand out and provide the calming, soothing feelings of the cold palette colors without losing your femininity.
