Pop star and actor Aaron Carter has passed away. He was reportedly found in the bathtub of his home in Lancaster CA. TMZ first broke the news.
The authorities told TMZ that they had received a 911 call around 11am Saturday morning that a man had drowned in a tub. So far there is no information on cause of death but they are investigating. Homicide also arrived on scene to investigate as is standard procedure in these types of cases.
Aaron Carter was a musician who started his career when he was only nine years old in 1990. He was the brother of Nick Carter who is a well known member of the Backstreet Boys. When he first started his career he would often go on tour with them. Later he would dive into the world of Rap.
Since his childhood fame he’s struggled with addiction and went to rehab a number of times. He’s talked about taking pills before on “The Doctors.” He’s also did not have a great relationship with his older brother, Nick reportedly wouldn’t let him around his children.
Carter is survived by his son, Prince. His son will be celebrating his first birthday on November 22nd. We hope that his family and friends can find peace in this tumultuous time. Aaron Carter was 34.
