“A Christmas Story” is a classic. While perhaps not EVERYONE’s favorite, the film has remained a touchstone for generations during the holiday season. A sequel to the original has been on the docket for sometime, and we just got our first look at it.
Titled “A Christmas Story Christmas” (how original), the HBO Max project sees Peter Billingsley return as Ralphie Parker. Adult Ralphie returns to the house on Cleveland Street to deliver his kids a magical Christmas like the one he had growing up. With the same attention-to-real-life tone of the first, Ralphie reconnects with childhood friends, reconciles the passing of his Old Man and sows the seeds for the origins of the beloved holiday classic.
