Haunted Beauty Barbie Dolls Need to Get Released by Mattel

A friend of mine shared a post about a haunted series Barbie doll and I was awestruck. Of course now they’re out of circulation but hopefully if Mattel reads this, they bring them back! These dolls are gorgeous and are something that makes my goth heart beat, so let’s take a look at some pictures of each! Read on to find out where you can find them.

    What Happened?

Since there’s really no information relating to what happened to the line, we’re just going to assume they were out of ideas. These dolls were designed by Bill Greening, and issued under the gold label. Since they were a Gold Label Direct doll, odds are they were offered to collectors in the circular magazine but that was it. Typically when dolls are released to the general public, we know about it. But since this one was an exclusive that’s why it slipped under the radar. If Mattel wants some ideas for more dolls in the line, I have a few. A Swamp Monster Beauty Doll, a Banshee, a Dullahan, a Witch… There are literally so many more that they can make if they wanted to.

Where You Can Find Haunted Beauty Barbies

For now it would appear that the best places to find Haunted Beauty Barbies are on second hand websites like Ebay, Mercari, Offer Up, and Facebook Marketplace. There are also some listing on Amazon. Hopefully you can find them for a price listed under $1,000. The going rate seems to be between one and two-thousand. Are they worth it? I’d say so!
