The time has come for IGN’s annual Fan Fest. Today, things kicked off with a look at Paramount+’s upcoming live-action “Halo” series.
Highlights include new footage, some never before seen concept art including set dioramas, and interviews with key cast and creatives for the series.
Pablo Schreiber, who plays Master Chief, teased the possibility of seeing the iconic character’s face during the show. Kiki Wolfkill, herald of the “Halo” franchise across 343 and Microsoft, says maybe we will!
Jen Taylor, voice actor of Cortana across the games, will be bringing the character to life in live-action. She spoke a bit about the process of getting to be on set, filming the mo-cap scenes.

This show sits in the Halo Silver timeline, which, technically, is “rooted in canon.” Wolfkill says some of these stories are told from other perspectives than we’ve seen previously, and some instances are sort of sped up in the chronology.
“Halo” is set to premiere on Paramount+ March 24th, 2022.
