Netflix has officially renewed hit series “Stranger Things” for a fifth and final season. They also shared some interesting tidbits about the still-forthcoming fourth season. It’ll apparently be split into two parts. Both will hit in 2022.
Creative team and showrunners Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer revealed season 4 gets the split because the 9 episodes run twice as long as previous seasons.

Season 4 part 1 will premiere on May 27th. Part 2 will hit July 1st. No word on a likely premiere for season 5, but we’d anticipate sometime in 2024, based on previous lead times. Seasons 1-3 are available to stream, only on Netflix.
