You know something that tells me you respect me and embrace my nerdy side? These LEGO roses! For one, I’ve never been a fan of watching flowers slowly die. And another, I love building. I’m guessing your partner does too if you’re here reading this right now. If you don’t think these LEGO roses will cut it, then really anything LEGO of the things you know they like (like “Harry Potter,” “Friends,” or even “Pokémon“) would be sufficient as a gift. Though I don’t believe that the Pokémon ones are actually LEGO brand.
Unfortunately, these are on backorder via LEGO‘s website. You can get them for other things like anniversaries, birthdays or wedding gifts. They are also available on Amazon for quicker delivery, but like other things that end up there, the store posting them has marked them up over retail.
You have to admit though, flowers that you don’t have to water and will last a lifetime? That’s a pretty great gift. You could also take it a step further and get a glass dome like in “Beauty and the Beast” if you have a Disney fan you’re buying for. Each rose stem measures over 10 in. (26 cm) long, but you can take the stem apart and make it shorter to fit it in one of these.
