Hershey Co. Announces 2 New Kit Kat Flavors On the Way

New year, new…new Kit Kat flavors? Candy giant Hershey has announced 2 new flavors will be joining the chocolate wafer family.

Strawberry+dark chocolate will be joining the Kit Kat duos lineup. Basically a chocolate covered strawberry Kit Kat, this version of the candy bar consists of a strawberry-flavored cream and dark chocolate layered around an iconic Kit Kat wafer.

The strawberry+dark chocolate Kit Kat Duo comes just in time for Valentine’s Day. The flavors and color scheme will make them the perfect sweet addition to any V-day gift you might be putting together.

    The BEST one

Kit Kat Duos were introduced in 2019, starting with mint+dark chocolate. Hershey added to the line up in 2020 with mocha+chocolate.

The next new exciting flavor the company announced is chocolate hazelnut Kit Kat Thins. Chocolate is already great, but there’s something extra decadent about mixing it with hazelnut. This flavor is available in 3.1 oz and 7.37 oz bags.

Hershey launched Kit Kat Thins last year, joining the likes of Reese’s Thins and York Peppermint Pattie Thins.

Food Business News quotes Kit Kat brand manager Dan Willard: “A new year is always a chance to try new things, so what better way to start than by releasing new Kit Kat flavors?” He goes on to say, “There’s nothing more classic than Kit Kat wafers and chocolate, but Kit Kat Strawberry + Dark Chocolate and Kit Kat Thins Chocolate Hazelnut bring fresh takes.”

The candy company is known for introducing limited edition flavors, like the recent fruity cereal version. But these new flavors are permanent additions to the candy line, and are currently available at retailers nationwide.
