We are so very sorry to report that beloved comedian Bob Saget has passed away. He was found inside his Florida hotel around 4PM by authorities, and pronounced dead on the spot. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Saget was unresponsive at the Ritz-Carlton, and the cause of death doesn’t appear to be from foul play nor is it drug-related.
Bob Saget was an amazing comedian who held the balance of family-friendly and sometimes overly crude. If you were an adult who loved his comedy you’d listen to the latter. If you grew up with him you were most likely introduced to him through his portrayal of Danny Tanner on “Full House.” Or perhaps you caught him as he hosted “America’s Funniest Videos.”
He was very active on social media, with his last YouTube upload just six days ago.
Saget was hyping up his tour in 2022. He sounded like he was excited for the year to come and for him to be doing stand up again.
No matter what the cause of death turns out to be, he will be sorely missed. Our hearts go out to his friends and family at this time. He is survived by three children and his wife, Kelly Rizzo.
