Let’s hear it for “The Boys,” who will be returning for season 3 this summer! Like season 2, episodes will be releasing weekly (though it sounds like we’ll get three episodes in the first week). Season 1 saw a more binge friendly model with all of the episodes dropping at once.
The season will be eight episodes long. It looks like as we pick up Homelander is still in the media’s good graces. The Seven are down two members ,and we’ll see new characters contend for those coveted spots. We’ll also be dealing with the fall out of two major reveals at the end of season 2.
Season 3 will see the return of Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, and Claudia Doumit. They’ll also be joined by “Supernatural” alum Jensen Ackles.
Amazon Prime has released this first look:
In addition to the first look we also got a segment from Vought News Network. If you watch “Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman” it gives us a bevy of “The Boys” Season 3 easter eggs and peeks into what is to come. We’d like to know how to book a real party at Buster Beaver’s Pizza Restaurant.
“The Boys” is based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The series is produced and showrun by Eric Kripke with Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg serving as executive producers.
We’re incredibly excited for “The Boys” Season 3 which will premiere on June 3rd, 2022 on Amazon Prime.
