Keanu Reeves May Star In TV Project “The Devil In White”

Hot off “The Matrix Resurrections,” Keanu Reeves may be starring in an upcoming Hulu project. “The Devil in White” is a series that will be produced by both Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese. According to a report, Reeves is currently in talks to star. So far there’s no word on who he would play. This would also mark his first foray into streaming television.

This has been one of the biggest acquisitions of Hulu’s, and it cost them a lot of money. “The Devil in White” is a true story based on Daniel H. Burnham and Dr. H. H. Holmes. Burnham was the architect behind the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. Dr. H. H. Holmes- better known as Dr. Henry Howard Holmes- was a serial killer who used the fair to lure his victims.

The story was originally intended to become a film after DiCaprio attained the rights to Erik Lawson‘s book in 2010. It was thought that DiCaprio would star, but later details were released that he and Scorsese struck a deal that they would both produce.

Todd Field, who is also producing along with Hulu Alumni Sam Shaw (Castle Rock), is set to direct the first two episodes.
