Fandoms have long been a part of one’s self expression. From small touches like pins and patches to full on cosplay, the outward display of something we like can help us feel happy and a little more confident. Such displays also act like a beacon for like minded people, which helps us find community in our otherwise disconnected society. Graphic tees are great, but Unique Vintage collaborations are taking everyday fandom expression to another level.

Katie Echeverry founded Unique Vintage in 2000 after having a hard time finding high-quality vintage items, which was a passion that stemmed from a weekend hobby. Her company’s mission statement reads:

“Created by a woman for women, Unique Vintage celebrates the iconic, flirty fashion of the past in modern, ready-to-wear contemporary designs for today.“

The website sells apparel and accessories including vintage-inspired dresses, swimwear, separates, and footwear. They have inclusive sizing that ranges from XS to 5X. That’s a great range of sizes, especially because it can sometimes be hard to find stylish clothes in extended sizes.

Here are some amazing Unique Vintage, DC Comics collaboration items to step up your wardrobe!
