Growing up there were two movies that fascinated me. “Dante’s Peak” and “Volcano” were the most visually stunning and sparked an interest in Earth Science. Lava is probably the coolest Earthly substance to watch in motion and thanks to one YouTuber we can watch drone footage f it. Check out the video below.
Bjorn Steinbekk has captured gorgeous drone footage of an erupting volcano in Iceland. He get’s really close to those lava splashes and in the last video it seems like some of them had to hit the drone. He even says in the video description that he thought he would have lost it.
