Have you spent the majority of your time in lockdown playing strategy games and, in turn, exhausted all of your current gaming options? Maybe you’re just bored and simply yearning to sink your teeth into something a bit different? Either way, rest assured, there are a host of other pastimes out there that you can partake in to get your strategic fix.

Here are three unusual yet engaging activities that you should seriously consider immersing yourself in:

    Sports betting

On the surface, sports betting might not seem like the most strategic of activities. If you really take this pastime seriously rather than just having a little flutter every now and again, however, it can be incredibly engaging on a cognitive level. When you use a platform such as OddsShark, especially, you will be able to compare past College Football Scores and make more informed decisions about the bets that you place going forward. You’ll be able to brush up on everything, from the number of tackles that took place to the speed at which the quarterback threw the ball. With all of this information at hand, you will then be able to make strategic betting choices.

    Tabletop games

You don’t necessarily have to be connected to the Internet to have a fun and engaging gaming experience. There are a plethora of strategic tabletop games out there that will be sure to entertain you and keep your brain ticking over.

    • Photosynthesis
    • Root
    • Scythe
    • Small World
    • Stone Age
    • Terraforming Mars
    • Twilight Imperium

    PC games

If you’re serious about playing games that force you to think, you should seriously consider getting yourself a gaming PC. Games that are played via computers always have been and probably always will be incredibly strategic, which is why you should consider taking this route when you embark on your next gaming endeavor.
