You know, I was hoping to write about Chris Evans today anyway after just seeing him in “Knives Out” last night. You may be thinking to yourself, “Why so late to watch such a great movie?” Well short answer is kids and lack of time to myself. Anyway, today, June 13th, is Chris Evans’ birthday. And if you can believe it he’s actually turning 39!

I worked on a birthday list for the entire month of June but this one holds a special place in our nerdy hearts. Especially because he’s forever ingrained in our minds as Captain America! Before becoming Captain America he played the Human Torch in the “Fantastic Four” films. “Scott Pilgrim Vs The World” was a great movie with him in it, and even before that he stole our hearts in “Not Another Teen Movie.“

Chris is one of the four major Chris’ of Hollywood making up one corner of the fab four. Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Pine (Captain Kirk), and Chris Pratt (Starlord) making up the other three.

Evans is not currently married but has been known to be in an on again off again relationship with actress and comedian Jenny Slate(Parks and Rec & tons of voice over for kids films). He grew up Catholic but is now a student of Buddhism and has a more spiritual view on life.
