Everyone’s been sheltering in place and the whole world has essentially stopped. Or at least it feels that way. And here to help us beat boredom back is now the cast of Harry Potter. They will be narrating The Philospher’s Stone chapter by chapter with each one being read by a different actor from the movies. Starting with Daniel Radcliffe! The project is called “Harry at Home” and it has kicked off to great reception. If not for the kids, then definitely for us adults.
JK Rowling has been trying to help those of us who love her books while the pandemic has been happening. She’s also lifted restrictions on teachers reading her stories to kids and has allowed them to share with students.
There are also a number of projects that you can download and print on the page. Including how to make your own broomstick, word searches and quizzes. So if you are looking for something else to do to pass the time you should really check it out!
