Schools that have closed and many families financially depend on lunches to feed their children. Along with that it becomes the responsibility of the children and their guardians to keep up with their education. So what better way than a fund that provides meals and books?

So Save the Children and No Kid Hungry created a new fund called “Save with Stories”. It helps food banks, mobile meal trucks, and community feeding programs along. This fund also provides educational toys, books, and worksheets. Just because schools are closed it doesn’t mean children can’t have story time? How do celebrities have to do with Save With Stories?

Booksmart actress Kaitlyn Dever is the most recent actor to read a book for Save with Stories. Stars in Marvel like Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Pratt (Starlord), Lupita Nyong’o (Nakia), and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) were super volunteers with reading some books. Even Disney Channel stars Hillary Duff and Demi Lovato have participated by reading “The Bossier Baby” and “The Gruffalo”. Bear in mind, they are doing these videos from the comfort of their own homes so any children, cats, dogs, or family can hop in to join in on story time.
