Zach Baylin who most recently wrote the upcoming Will Smith movie King Richard has been hired to write the script for Creed III. This is the first news we’ve heard about the third film in the Creed series for quite some time.
The second movie came out back in 2018 and we’ve all been waiting for the follow up film to it. It will be a long time before filming starts but now that we have news that they have acquired a writer it should be moving forward at a steady pace.
Baylin follows Ryan Coogler who wrote and directed Creed and Juel Taylor and Sylvester Stalone who wrote Creed II.
At this stage of the process they still do not have a director attached, but hopefully that will be announced soon.
