‘Locke & Key’ & ‘Sandman’ Comic Book Crossover Coming This October

Locke and Key just released on Netflix and Netflix also currently happens to be working on Sandman. However, before Netflix, both series were popularized by their Graphic Novel forms. So if you can’t wait for more and if you happen to be a fan of either or both series, be sure to have your calendars marked for October.

With dark elements and storytelling, this collaborative project is perfect for the spooky season. Offering some casual light reading… that may leave you feeling slightly uncomfortable. But in a good way.

IDW officially made the announcement via Twitter this weekend. The crossover event from IDW and DC comics will be titled Locke & Key: Hell and Gone.

If you think you can unlock the gates of hell and just invite yourself in, you must be dreaming. Coming October 2020: @joe_hill and @GR_comics will debut LOCKE & KEY: HELL & GONE – A SANDMAN UNIVERSE Crossover Event, courtesy of @IDWPublishing and @DCComics. pic.twitter.com/b9I9e3Sa0h

Also confirming this project is creator of Locke and Key Joe Hill on Instagram. Revealing that Neil Gaiman himself invited him onto the collab project. How exciting!

Beside the information that this project is going forward and the release is planned for October, we have little else in terms of details. We can assume that things are indeed going to get dark and hopefully we will see some of our favorite Locke characters interact with our favorite Endless characters.

You can be sure that Nerdbot will be keeping you informed! So until then, let us know what you think about this project in the comments!
