Remember a few years ago when that video of Evgenia Medvedeva went viral in the Moonie community? The one where she skated in competition to a Sailor Moon Medley? Here let me refresh your memory.
She did a fantastic job capturing the essence of our beloved Sailor Scout. She apparently caught the eye of Naoko Takuechi herself as well and has been asked to star a Sailor Moon Ice Skating show. The show will run for a limited time in Japan, June 5 to June 7 in Yokohama. And if you are in the area please tape this and share it with the world on YouTube for everyone who can’t be there in person. Sailor Moon Prism on Ice is going to be one of the highlights in Sailor Moon history.
During the promotion Evgenia said that Sailor Moon was her favorite character, and now she is getting to live a dream. Portraying the Magical Girl Sailor Moon is a big responsibility and is an honor that we are so glad Evgenia gets to have.

- Mirai Nagasu as Sailor Mars/Rei Hino
- Alissa Czisny as Sailor Jupter/Makoto Kino
- Becky Bereswill as Sailor Venus/Minako Aino
- Andrew Poje as Tuxedo Mask/Mamoru Chiba
- Jason Brown as Kunzite
- Takahito Mura as Jadeite
- Dylan Moscovitch as Nephrite
- Seiya Hashimoto as Zoisite
- Mamiko Sakamaki as Queen Beryl
And ANZA will perform a special song as Queen Serenity. ANZA!! That is probably the coolest part of the whole thing. She was the first person who ever played Sailor Moon in the Musicals and did so for five years. There will also be a guest appearance by Kurt Browning who is a famous Canadian figure skater.
