Back in May I wrote about how the fans wanted Robert Downey Jr. to be considered for an Oscar nomination. Well Disney heard our voices folks and has since officially submitted their list of actors that should be considered for this grand honor.

Robert does have the most time of any Avenger and there is even a petition on change.org for Robert to receive the oscar. However Robert said this in reply to if he ever was nominated for his portrayal of Iron Man There was some talk about it, and I said, let’s not.”
