You Can Now Buy a Half Wine, Half Cheez-Its Box

If charcuterie boards have taught us one thing, it’s that cheese pairs well with booze. A new collaboration between wine brand House Wine and Cheez-It intends to capitalize on that idea. Their new product, a limited-edition box, brings red wine and Cheez-It crackers into one glorious combination.

The wine-and-cheese box contains a special blend of red wine to perfectly compliment the real cheese notes inside of Cheez-It crackers. The mix is a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that was carefully selected by House Wine winemaker Hal Landvoigt. The wine portion comes with a spout, so no corkscrews are necessary! Obviously, the second half of the box contains the addictive and easy-to-eat cheesy snack we have all come to know and love. It’s the joy of pairing cheese with wine, but without the hassle of cheese knives or plates.

Maybe we will see pairings with all the Cheez-It flavors in the future

“We are thrilled to partner with House Wine to combine their expertise and America’s favorite 100% real cheese snack into one portable box,” says Jeff Delonis, senior marketing director for Kellogg’s U.S. snacks division. In fact, Delonis claims that many people have been pairing wines with Cheez-Its for years. This new box means all of the hard work has already been done for them. People can simply sit back and enjoy their wine and Cheez-Its without even having to think about it.

Picnics can now have an interesting twist

The limited edition House Wine & Cheez-It boxes can be purchased for $25 on OriginalHouseWine.com. Currently, the site states that the boxes have already sold out. However, there is a chance they may create more due to overwhelming demand. So make sure to keep checking the site for a chance at some wine and cheese goodness!
