Angelina Jolie is in Talks to Enter the MCU in ‘The Eternals’

It really was only a matter of time before Angelina Jolie would enter the fold of super hero movies. She has pretty much done everything at this point. She played a badass car thief in Gone in Sixty Seconds, a video game character Laura Croft in Tomb Raider, and even a Spy in Mr. & Mrs. Smith(among others).

She is now in talks to make her Marvel debut in “The Eternals” according to an exclusive run by THR. Since she is so timeless it would make sense for her to portray one of the “near-immortal beings” from Jack Kirby’s “The Eternals.”

At this point it is not known who she is in talks to play and Marvel has kept the synopsis for the film under wraps.

This will not be her first time stepping into the comic book world as she was in a film called Wanted. Wanted was adapted from Mark Millar’s Wanted and came out in 2007.

Currently she can be seen in the upcoming movie Malificent 2 which got bumped from coming out fall of next year to coming out October of this year. The exact date for the release is October 18th.
