If you are in the same position as a lot of families this holiday weekend, you’ve been running around like a crazed lunatic, wrapping presents, and preparing holiday feasts just in time for the big day. The kiddos are bored, and you are wore out. Maybe it’s the perfect time for a holiday movie marathon. So, here are the top 5 holiday movies to watch with your fam right now.

    5. The Muppet Christmas Carol

What holiday isn’t complete without a little classic Muppet movie? Telling the tale of Dickens A Christmas Carol in Muppet fashion, this movie is funny, the songs are catchy, and your kids will be singing along in no time.

    4. Polar Express

As one of the first movies to really utilize the motion capture technology, Polar Express delivers a classic story of a boy looking for his true Christmas spirit aboard the Polar Express. Tom Hanks delivers a breath-taking performance to remember. It’ll get ya right in the feels.

    3. The Santa Clause

When Scott Calvin Inadvertently startles Santa off his roof, he must learn to become the jolly fat guy in the red suit. Tim Allen plays a snarky, sarcastic Santa in this holiday classic. Oh My childhood in a nutshell.

    2. How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Jim Carrey has always given us roles to remember. But when he transforms into the hairy, green ant-Christmas Grinch in this live-action rendition of Dr. Suess’ classic, the holidays are brought to a whole other level. The magical world of Whoville will certainly create family bonding to remember.

    1. Elf

I don’t know what it is about Will Farrell, but almost any movie with him it it cracks me up. So, watching him skip his way around New York in an elf costume will do it for sure. When Buddy the elf find out he’s human, he goes on a journey to NY to find his real dad. His jolly, innocent Christmas spirit is put to the test in this family film that’s sure to be a holiday hit in your house tonight.
