In a tweet this afternoon Roseanne Barr announced that she will be doing a TV interview sometime this week. She has recently been laying low but will be coming back into public view very soon it seems.

To my wonderful fans who I treasure and love-who have carried me these past weeks when I was 2 weak 2 carry myself: I will be doing a TV interview this week. I’ll tell u about it tomorrow!

According to Deadline.com She appeared on  Rabbi Shumley Boteach’s podcast and unloaded about all that has happened due to her racist tweet to Valarie Jarrett. You remember, This one..

On the show she apologized and articulated that she did not get paid to leave the show, she left of her own accord. She also announced that she is in the running to be on a new show but did not give any details as to what that meant.

“Inside every bad thing is a good thing waiting to happen.” Roseanne states on the podcast. She also says that she “feels very excited because I’ve already been offered so many things…I’ve almost accepted one really good offer to go back on TV and I might do it. But we’ll see.”

Her leaving the show on her own and not being paid off was due to the murky circumstances that she put herself in. The network kindly asked her to leave and she agreed. Fortunately the cast did not end up taking the fall and they were signed to do a ten episode spin off series “The Connors“- a working title. The show is set to take over the same Tuesday at 8pm time slot on ABC that Roseanne was in before the cancellation.

After tweeting about the TV interview she gave her fans a picture of her new hairdo for people to see while they wait for more information on where and when they could watch the TV interview. She will be updating her twitter feed with more information tomorrow.

If I had to guess, she was probably offered her own talk show where she doesn’t have to worry about being a character. But that’s all conjecture, I don’t know for sure.

What do YOU think she is going to do? Tell Nerdbot in the comments!
