Forget Networking Lounges. GBC London Puts Founders Directly in Front of Investors

If you’re looking to raise capital, this might be one of the few blockchain conferences where the networking actually starts with the investor.

Let’s face it: the traditional conference playbook can be exhausting. Hundreds of people, endless panels, packed networking lounges and somehow, you still leave without meeting the one investor you actually wanted to speak to.

Agora’s Global Blockchain Congress London takes a different approach.

Think of it as speed dating with investors.

Taking place on 3–4 September 2026, the London edition by Agora Group brings together blockchain founders and a curated network of investors through a series of pre-arranged, one-on-one meetings.

Rather than leaving introductions to chance, the format is designed to put founders directly across the table from investors who are actively looking at opportunities.

And that’s what makes it interesting.

Across its editions, GBC has facilitated 5,750+ one-on-one meetings and connected with 1,850+ investors, turning what is often the most frustrating part of a conference finding the right person into the entire premise of the event.

For founders, that means less time circulating a crowded room and more time having meaningful conversations about funding, partnerships and what comes next.

For investors, it means access to a concentrated pool of projects without having to sift through the noise.

London Is the Logical Next Move

Bringing this format to London is particularly timely.

As one of the world’s major financial centres, the city sits at the intersection of institutional capital, fintech and an increasingly sophisticated digital asset ecosystem.

It also marks an interesting expansion for Agora Group, bringing its investor-first conference model into the UK after establishing a strong presence in markets including Dubai.

There’s a parallel here that feels familiar to us at Luna PR.

Just as Luna PR has expanded beyond its Dubai roots to build a global presence across the Web3 ecosystem, Agora is taking a format developed and proven in other markets into a new global financial hub.

Different roles, same principle: if you want to be relevant to where the industry is going, you need to be in the room.

And for founders, the question isn’t necessarily:

“Which conference has the biggest crowd?”

    It’s:

“Which conference has the right people sitting across the table?”

If the answer is investors, GBC London is a pretty good place to start.
